Cayden and Ben's wedding was an event 8 years in the making!
They met at Michigan State and have been planning this day for quite some time. They journeyed to Boyne Mountain for their wedding day, getting ready at an Airbnb. Afterward, Cayden and Ben had their first look behind the house and happily embraced.
As we made the short drive to Deer Lake they praised what a gorgeous day they had. With chairs facing the lake, and a cool lake breeze adding relief from the summer heat, it truly was an elegant event on the Beach House Lawn. Ben teared up as Cayden walked down the aisle with her father. The way they looked at each other made it clear that they were both madly in love.
The reception was held in the tent nearby, where toasts were given and dinner was enjoyed. Shortly after their first dance golden hour came. We took Ben and Cayden back to the lake for a magical portrait session on the docks. Cayden's bridesmaids joined in wanting to dip their toes in the lake and cool off. They had fun splashing around!
The rest of the night, the party guests lit up the tent with glow sticks and danced, celebrating the new marriage of Cayden and Ben.
